Hello! I'm sure you can already guess this but I typically go by Smileyfan123 on the internet. I live in the UK and decided to start this website as a way to do something during quarantine. As my tags would suggest, I have a deep passion for video games and tech in general, as well as all other forms of art. Although, I don't think I can call myself particularly well versed in most of them.

My favourite games of all time are Undertale and Deltarune. I won't bore you with the details, but for me they go above and beyond all other experiences I've had and hold a special place in my heart. Don't be surprised if this site ends up being a little bit of a pseudo-fansite for the games; I'm not known for my restraint in regards to them.

My first "real" game as far as I can remember was Sonic 3&K, but it was the old PC port and I played it on my nan's computer. It was the one published by XPLOSIV, and I have a copy of Sonic 3D Blast from them too. I'm still a fan of the series to this day, but more so on the 2D side. I do have a soft spot for Adventure and Heroes though, as I played through them a bunch with my brother when I was a dumb little bab.

I've also got a little bit of the JJBA brainrot so don't be surprised if you see that slip out at some point. Also vaporwave aesthetics.

Any and all weird and obsolete tech I am a glutton for. I especially enjoy odd forms of file storage, like Datasonix Cassettes or MiniDiscs (LGR does great videos on them and other cool old tech, I highly recommend checking him out!). Tiny versions of stuff are rad, which is why I am a proud owner of a GPD Win 1 (at least until the battery swells lol).

By extension of that, I kind of find any retro or older stuff to be really appealing, but also super "futuristic" looking stuff. The PS5 controller falls into that category for me. It just looks like something that came out of a fake next-gen console leak video you'd find on youtube with a weirdly high amount of views.

In terms of my aspirations, I want to make video games. I know that isn't unique, but it's just something I've always wanted to do since I first started playing them. I'd love to do any form of artistic expression really.

Alright then, that's enough about me. I recommend you get out of this snooze fest and head on back to the home page!
